NORDIC INSPIRED
This Nordic cottage project is an excellent example of how the correct balance of warm natural wood accents can help soften a cool modern look and transform it into a warm and inviting space. The kitchen features sleek painted slab doors combined with modern handles creating a clean, minimalistic environment. Cool grey paint colours were carefully selected and applied to the cabinets using smooth modern finishing techniques.
KITCHEN FEATURES
Custom features such as spice pullouts, an oil pullout, and a recycling pullout add convenient features, while the pantry pullout drawers provide additional storage. Door panels applied directly to the appliances create a seamless flow that aligns with the modern and minimalistic interior design.
In the centre of the kitchen, we installed a custom tile range hood cover using charcoal grey tile. The dark tones demand attention in the space and create a stunning focal point.

In the living space, the rift-sawn white oak fireplace cabinet adds a natural element, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The vertical wood storage adds character to the space by creating a clever transition between the wood cabinet and the stone fireplace.
MORE FEATURES
The solid white oak slats separate the stairs from the rest of the space and create an interesting visual effect.
The main bedroom ensuite follows the Nordic theme with a ‘his-and-hers’ vanity crafted out of the recurring rift-sawn white oak.
The Nordic theme flows seamlessly into the bathrooms, which feature Scandinavian-style custom floating vanities with charcoal drawers and a natural wood frame.
