Since then, the company has grown and moved to a new facility with multiple employees. Wellington Millwork is backed by a team of professionals that continue to improve the company with skilled craftsmanship, unique new ideas and dedication. AUKE BIJLSMA | PRESIDENT

Auke Bijlsma started Wellington Millwork 12 years ago, working by himself in a small room in a barn. Now Wellington Millwork has grown to a team of 14 people and is still growing! Auke manages the sales, meeting with clients and contractors to create ideas and formulate a plan. Auke is originally from the Netherlands and moved here when he was just a teenager. As he stood on a boat travelling across the ocean, he looked towards his future and never once suspected that he would one day run his own successful company with a dedicated and passionate team.

Choosing the finest cuts of wood and milling them from scratch to create timeless custom cabinetry is what sets us apart in today’s fast-paced and disposable world. With stunning design and precise execution, our team at Wellington Millwork team leaves a lasting impression.
